It was around Carboneras they filmed Lawrence of Arabia. The director had a problem as to where to put up his stars. So he built an hotel (as they say). El Dorado. We stayed there - and a beautiful unspoiled part of Spain it is, too. There aren't many. The hotel itself is a little faded from those times, but still with Piere Cardin blankets!
